The rooms are exquisite and neat and have amazing view of downtown.

The service here was excellent, and we had convenient on-site parking, an amazing breakfast, and incredibly friendly staff who provided us with great recommendations.

I really liked my time at this place. It's a beautiful and clean hotel that has a cozy restaurant where you can grab a bite. The staff was super friendly and the pool area was awesome for chilling out 😊.

The breakfast was amazing with lots of goodies. My room was large & high standard with attention to traveller needs, extremely comfortable king beds and very high sleeping comfort.

The hotel has a very modern design and the staff is delightfully helpful. The room is well-appointed with great beds, and they offer wake-up service.

The place was lovely old and grand old, no complaints whatsoever, couldn't recommend more. Views of downtown were stunningly beautiful, the room was well-appointed and high standard. It had comfortable beds and there was lovely pool onsite.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and upscale with amicable stuff with champagne and friendly front desk staff Emily. The breakfast was amazing - plenty of dishes.

The hotel is in a great location close to touristy areas and right in the heart of downtown which made the commute to local attractions easy. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with attention to traveler needs such as charging ports and USB ports. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service.

Some guests mentioned that the gym lacked wipes for cleaning equipment after use.

We met friends from Waco here. Great location. Excellent renovation. Debbie and I enjoyed High Tea. Wonderful place to rest, relax, and visit with our friends. Larry and I had stayed here on our wedding night December 20, 1970. The elegance remains and we will come back soon! Perhaps on this anniversary! Do you have an anniversary package I could surprise him with?

Everything was perfect.

Service at every level of the hotel was excellent = from the parking to check out. Even thought there was a lot of activity in the lobby, our room was very quiet. We were on the 14th floor and had a great view. We had dinner at The French Room and it earned its 5 star rating with no problem. We only stayed one night, but felt like we had been there for 3 because we were so relaxed when we left.

The hotel maintains its appeal despite ongoing construction. The large rooms have new furnishings. The complimentary car service is convenient, with prompt cabs as alternatives. The attentive bellman ensures an easy check-in and check-out process. The luxury amenities, such as the giant terrace and remodeled fitness center, add to the enjoyable stay. The friendly staff make guests feel at home.

Beautiful hotel.

No hair dryer in room, but one was brought up when called. Waiting for the hairdryer almost made us late. No bath mat for floor. Only two bath towels for two guests. No extra for my hair. Towels not replenished that night or bed turned down. Had only hot water one evening - even turning on the cold only tap had extremely hot water coming out. The water tank of the toilet was hot from hot water. It was weird. We notified the hotel, and by the next morning, we had warm water rather than hot water from the cold tap. At least I could take a shower without being scalded!!

The Adolphus is an old fashioned hotel with traditional decor, spacious and with a very luxurious atmosphere. It does not have acres of glass and marble and the fixtures and fittings in the rooms are not new but it does exude a feeling of comfort and security. The rooms are well furnished and the suites are spacious with huge sunny terraces.The city car and helpful chauffeur to drive guests to inner city sights and shops was a real bonus.

Sometimes it did appear to be short staffed at reception and lobby but staff were helpful and cheerful.
